Bangkok-Khao Yai

Beautiful ride from Bangkok through the Khao Yai National Park and Nakhon Rachasima Province. Enjoy scenic mountain roads and relax at the lakes and Waterfalls in and around Khao Yai.

Bangkok – Khao Yai (177 Km)

Leave the City via Sukhumvit 77 and follow Lat Krabang road past the Suvarnabhumi Airport or app. 20Km from the Sukhumvit /Soi 77 Junction. In Lat Krabang turn left to the King Mongut Institute of Technology and follow Chalong Krung Road for 18Km to Nong Chok. Turn right and after you cross an irrigation canal after app. 500m turn left to follow the bank of the canal north. After 27 Km along the Boopsam canal you will reach a T-junction. Turn left onto Highway 305 and follow it all the way to Nakhon Nayok. In Nakhon Nayok turn left onto HWY 33 to Prachin Buri. After app. 18Km you will reach a roundabout in Prachin Buri. Follow the first exit and turn left to Khao Yai National Park. Drive north on HWY 3077 until you reach the entrance to the National Park. From here continue on the same route north. Towards the visitor center of the park. Along the way you can visit several Viewpoints as well as Heow Narok and Heow Suwat Waterfalls. Keep following the road towards Pack Chong until you reach the northern exit to the park. Here and along HWY 2090 you can find many small resorts to spend the night and numerous local restaurants.

Khao Yai – Wang Nam Khiao – Bangkok (288 km)

Drive back towards the northern entrance to the Park on HWY 2090. Just before the park turn left onto Highway 3052 to Wang Nam Khiao. Follow this scenic route along the national park for 69Km until you reach Highway 304. Turn left and follow the Highway to Kabin Buri (57Km) and Chachoengsao (97Km). In Chachoengsao you can visit Wat Sothoin or have a break in one of the many restaurants along the Prachin River. Afterwards follow HWY 314 to Minburi and back to Bangkok.
